Today I am not going to write a lenghtly article. Today was total bloodbath in equities and crypto, of course there were plenty of signs about this, but that doesn't make it better for many. For example on Friday the S&P 500 closed at dead lows, yesteday I wrote about [Bitcoin breaking the 200 SMA](https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@ervinneb/bitcoin-testing-key-levels-once-again) and unfortunately it did in a very decisive manner.

Today S&P 500 fell 4.10% - for those, who are not familiar with the stock market - this is HUGE DROP in terms of equities. Dow Jones fell 1175 points - biggest intraday decline in history - 5th of February. Cryptocurrencies didn't fare any better, Bitcoin is being killed in a the crypto-bear market. 

## Piece of Advice

For those who don't know, I am a professional trader on NYSE and today I saw margin calls all over the place. I am sure this goes for crypto as well. Do yourself a favor and try to REALLY calculate the risk you are taking, when you enter a position. Bear markets are no fun thing.

If you are a trader on the stock market, you should ***ALWAYS*** read the prospectus of the stocks/etf's/CEF's you are trading. Just look at what XIV did today - XIV is inverse VIX. Can you imagine how many people got killed in this ETF solely because they didn't know about the termination event. 

## Take care of your ***MENTAL ACCOUNT***, so you can take care of the financial one. Stay positive, be prepared and be the best version of yourself !
