The stock photo industry is a very interesting industry, with the amount of supply of photos from regular people freely uploading content to the web, many of them miss out on the opportunity to generate revue from photography. Being a professional photographer can be a lucrative job, but if you're not experienced and if you have ethical beliefs (non-explicit photography), or if you cannot catch a shot at the right time, you won't be making much money from stock photography or any other form of photography.
Currently, I am working with some friends of mine and purchasing or profit-sharing their stock photography, sometimes their selfies. You've seen my friends or family's drawings, you've seen selfies of people, or you've seen some images of the natural world or the city. I'm going to be doing more of this in the future because it can help bring an extra little bit of income to my network while also helping me build some wealth as well. It's NOT a lucrative business, but as people say "any little bit helps".
Personally, I like including my family and friends in cryptocurrency-powered social networks because if I'm building something up here for myself, I might as well share some of the bread with my favorite people in life. More people should include their close network in these kinds of projects. If they are reluctant in building an account directly, then share the wealth by buying their photos. There is a market for everything, you just have to take the initiative.
