Hive Layer 2 Smart Contracts Save us All
Ethereum is boss. 

There. I said it. A lot of people don't want to admit it.

But why is Ethereum the boss in the market? It's because of it's smart contracts, layer 2 and the ability to extend. All of that adds up which makes Ethereum a much better option in the market. 

A lot of new chains started learning from the Ethereum and decided to build something similar. Polkadot, Solana, Avalanche and others created various new features like Oracle, Bridge and interoperability into the chain. 

All of this adds up as you create smart contract layer in your blcokchain. 

Something we need for Hive too. 

So let's talk about it.

### Hive has Layer 2, Hive needs Smart Contracts

We already have the layer 2 and ability to create the tokens. And we can also build the NFTs on this. But we don't have the smart contracts like Ethereum. Another thing we don't have is compatibiltiy with any other chain and it's smart contract. 

So in order to grow your chain, you would have to add new features. In case of Hive we have the Smart Contracts part missing. And if we add that it would open up new box of features in the future. 

New companies and the projects would be able to launch their projects here on Hive. Which means more cashflow and more developers being hired for the ecosystem. 

### Smart Contracts means Business

New chains don't survive unless they have strong features like smart contracts, NFTs and the other protocols that help build business on the chain. So in that case it is reasonable to have a smart contract on the chain. 

In short if the Hive gets the smart contract, we would be attracting the business here. Like say what if any publishing company chooses to use their smart contracts here on the chain.

Apart from being just a content creator blockchain it would also open up for various new projects that are good fit for our chian. So in that context having such chain bringing new business would help as well. 

### What about Cashflow?

Smart contracts bring in new projects and the business on the chain. And that would build some cashflow onthe chain. Like for every successful project being built you would find some cashflow which means some good value for Hive. 

We know market can give some value at 3 USD but if the cashflow adds up with smart contracts, that would mean the price would have reason to stay up. And that is something I am hinting at with cashflow.

Again these are some of my views on how the smart contract would make a difference in our lives if the Hive chain gets it. Let's see when it get implemented.
