I remember the time when I was in college and that time women had very little freedom. And going solo on trips and working late was not a norm. In that time men were not sensetize like they are in todays times. And resulting in that we kind of learned to know our boundaries. 

Time are changing now. Working late, going solo trips and even driving alone late night is not new anymore.

Women now have an option to work. We can vote. We can now work with men and also we can expect safety from the system. So it's not just our responsibility on one way side while living in this society. Instead we have to work with each other for each others safety. So unlearning with the changing times is a need of an hour. One has to always keep an eye on what is changing in society. 

### Learn Self Esteem and Confidence

We don't have to always explain ourselves. Some of the times we have to stand up with some self esteem. And having the confidence in what we do is necessity. We have to learn to build our self confidence by celebrating each and every step of our life. This means we have to avoid thinking in terms of negative consequences and focus on the confident approach. That requires some new learning. 

### Unlearn Things That Affect You

Some of us including me have experienced the depression. And so we have to unlearn a lot of things in our life in order to move ahead. We have a lot of things to unlearn and lot of things to learn as we realize the value of the risks and rewards. So in order to get out of the past experience of stress and depression, we have to unlearn a lot of past mistakes and the actions. That's the only way to move ahead. 

### Learning New Habits for Better Future

Learning new things is how the new things can be built. And we make new roads towards the new destination. Habit is something we have to change. What got us here wont be taking to where we want. So this is where you need to change and understand how that would go for the future. I have learned that part from the experience. 

As we move ahead in life, we have to learn and unlearn and also learn how to adjust with the changing times. This means that we have to take things in lot different way to constantly change with our actions. That seems to be the only way to move in the journey of life. 

## Conclusion

When you want to learn something new, you have to unlearn something old. And when you want to unlearn something you have to learn to part ways with the past. So that is one of the way we move ahead in life.
