Week 266: How do I keep the passion alive in my relationship?

<div class="text-justify"> Maintaining a relationship for a long time isn't easy, but I think it's even harder to keep it going without the flame of passion going out—the one that made you fall in love and that ignites you with every spark in the first moments.<p>

It may seem like a woman my age shouldn't talk about these things, but 62 years of life and 28 years of marriage allow me to share what I've done to keep my husband in love and make him want to fall in love again and again.

We've always had open communication and talked about what we like to do in love, our sexual fantasies, and our needs in love. This is vital because it strengthens our feelings and emotions and has allowed us to find new ways to find fulfilling love.

We've always loved details and surprises, things that no one expected, or things that have become routine, but that we enjoy. For example, my husband and I exchange love poems, we celebrate our first kiss, the first time we did all the things in a relationship that bring complete satisfaction. For example, one Saturday I've been doing housework, and my husband shows up with an invitation to a concert, a theater performance, or the beach. I'll leave what I'm doing there, and we'll go enjoy ourselves. After this, things happen that eternalize love and ignite the flame of passion.

Exploring intimacy is another of the sparks that keeps a relationship alive. But the secret is to do it differently and with the conviction that both partners want that moment to come repeatedly. However, we often only seek physical intimacy and intimacy in bed, unaware that emotional intimacy is exciting and essential because it involves the mind and feelings. When you know what predominates in your partner and know how to explore them well, it's difficult for passion to fade.

Spending time together, but time that's worth it, time for both of us, and there are no distractions along the way, because that time is for two, and if there's another guest, let it be love. During this time, we can both enjoy the things we love, and experiencing those pleasures side by side is fabulous.

Last but not least, I take care of my physical appearance, always dressing up, looking pretty and flirtatious for my husband, and being as provocative as possible with him, despite the years we've been together.
