There is this excitement that comes with watching paranormal and supernatural films that can't be compared to the excitement of watching a thriller or crime film. Paranormal and supernatural films are one of my favorite genres in movies and even for books. Wolf Pack is a TV series that is based on the paranormal and supernatural genre.

Before it premiered, I was already excited to watch it, and when I discovered that the director and creator of the series is the same person who produce and directed *"Teen Wolf Series"*, my expectations became high. Watching the first season of this series was thrilling, nostalgic, and fantastic for me. I enjoyed the series because it was entertaining and exciting. 

**Wolf Pack** is an American supernatural teen drama that is based on or adapted from a book of the same title written by Edo van Belkom in 2004. This series was created by Jeff Davis and premiered on Paramount+ with MTV entertainment as its distributor. The series starred Bella Shepard, Armani Jackson, Chloe Rose Robertson, Tyler Lawrence Gray, Rodrigo Santoro, and other supporting actors. The story of the series revolves around two particular teenagers who were caught in the middle of a California wildfire and encountered a dangerous and terrifying beast that changed the path of their lives. 

#### Little About The Plot Of Season 1.

The series starts with a scene where part of the city of California is engulfed in a wildfire. As the wildfire ravages the forest part of the city, wild animals such as deer, bulls, big cats, coyotes, and wolves were driven from their home into the residential area of California causing chaos and havoc. During this chaos, school children and other people were injured and some died. Amidst this disaster, two teenagers Blake and Everett were bitten by an unknown creature.

Everett was admitted to the hospital to treat his bite but Blake went home to her dad and autistic brother covering up her bite. Meanwhile, Everett became conscious only to find himself surrounded by his parents and discovered his bite had already healed mysteriously. He then received a call from an unknown caller telling him that he is not safe in the hospital and that he should leave before the creature that bit comes to kill him.

With this warning, Everett left the hospital and went to look for Blake. Coincidentally, Blake was on her way to look for him too. They met and they discovered that they were attracted to the forest by a howl sound signal. They got to the forest only to find themselves with two teenage siblings who also ran towards their direction too.  From there, the mystery began. Who are these teenagers to each other? What was the creature that bit them? For what purpose were they called together? You have to watch the series to know how the mystery unravels. 

#### My Review And Rating. 

I will start by saying that this series is amazing and thrilling with a promising future to be better. I enjoyed watching this series as it got me hooked from the beginning up to the end. There were no dull moments, the flow was amazing, the mystery and suspense were excellent and I commend Jeff Davis for this because he did a fantastic job with this series. 

If you have watched the Teen Wolf Series before, you would enjoy watching this series. Though there are some similarities between both series, Wolf Pack is a refined and more tense version of Teen Wolf. In my own opinion, I think this series is meant for young adults from ages 17 upwards. It is not meant for young teenagers because this series contains more bloody scenes, jump scares, horrific deaths, and sexual content. 

The plot of the series was written in a tightly Paced manner, there was no room for boredom, and there was no room for unnecessary scenes. Each episode aligned perfectly with each and the audience experiences intense suspense and looks forward to the next episode. Each episode always unravels a mystery and then creates another mystery that will flow into the next episode effortlessly. The writers of each episode did an amazing job even though there were different writers for each other episodes. 

My favorite episode was the first episode which was written by Jeff Davis himself. I will consider the episode as a thriller slasher or something close to horror. Jeff gave us a fantastic intro into the series by building the main characters of the whole series with mystery and a little bit of twist. He made the episode exciting, thrilling, and gore to keep his audience hooked and anxious for the next episode. 

The actors all did well. Their performances were fantastic except for one Tyler Lawrence Gray who acted as Harlan Briggs, one of the teenagers. His performance was annoying and irritating. The CGI was amazing and shot perfectly well. The location was perfect and it was just right for the storyline of the series. The action scenes were shot well, the camera angle was excellent, the scene arrangements were impressive and the design of the creature was amazing and fierce. 

Rating this series, I will give it 4 out of 5 stars. If you are a fan of the paranormal and supernatural, you would enjoy the series. If you are triggered by blood, or strong content, don't watch this series. Though there are a lot of negative reviews about this series, I say, don't let that stop or make you miss a thrilling series.
