Hi Friends!!

As a teacher, many of the strategies I have applied are not new, but that does not mean they are not different. But ... Different in what sense? A: In the way of presenting them. We can teach the same learning strategy without making it feel repetitive!

I like to do the same exercises that I apply to my students at school to my children and this forces me to be more creative. :)


In the school where I work, from preschool we teach writing, but to do so, we use a variety of materials, except a pencil. I believe that through the Arts we can get faster and better to awaken interest in writing in our children.

In my daily work I use ice cream popsicles, thick needle and thread, colors, among other materials that help them in concentration, initially, in addition to exercising fine motor skills and laterality. All this in order to prepare them for the handling of the pencil and the worksheet.

Another of the exercises that I apply is to ask the children that, taking into account the direction of the arrow drawn at the beginning of the sheet, a) Color the box with the color of their preference- b) Draw several lines across the width of the box.

On the other hand I ask them to fill, color and draw lines according to the shape of the figure.
