On the 13th of January  I officially became a mother to a 6month old. Yes, my sweet baby boy is now 6month old. 

I woke up that morning, feeling super excited, I had a big reflection on how the last 6month has been to us, I looked at my sleeping son, and could completely understand was what unconditional love meant. It was an emotional morning for me. My husband kept on saying it is just a day like another day he turns older by a month but it was more than that for me, I just couldn't explain why.

I anticipated his 6month old birthday for so long, I had so much inspiration on pictures I would snap since  he clocked 3month. I knew I didn't have the money to fund my ideas but I was positive even when things at the time were not so great but I knew I would get those pictures taken somehow.

When I delivered because of the circumstances surrounding his birth I couldn't take him his newborn picture, everyone was more worried about our health than a picture but I always wanted to have a framed picture of my child as a baby not when he is older or already one, that is why the 6month photoshoot was my final chance. 

My hubby wasn't in full support he saw it as a waste of money because having a baby shoot can be quite expensive but I knew what I wanted and I was going to achieve it.

With the help of @readthisplease , I finally made my first withdrawal on hive and traded using the P2P Feature on binance, and that is how I was able to get the money to fund my idea and the shoot. Finally, I was able to do something I wanted with my own money and I loved it. Thanks to Hive blockchain

I went out to some baby shops and got the outfit I wanted to use, found exactly what I wanted and the props I needed for the shoot, fixed a date with the photographer, and paid immediately. 

I anticipated the photoshoot so much, I almost started rehearsing picture poses with my baby just to make sure it was going to come out nice, I needed to prove my husband wrong about the shoot.


Shoot day arrived and my baby wasn't having it at the beginning, he was grumpy and sleepy, but I already fixed a time and date and we had to work with it, the photographer was so patient and thoughtful, we took the first pictures and he wasn't smiling as much so she suggested we let him eat and sleep for few minutes before the next outfit so he can get himself.

We took a break and he slept for about 20min, when he woke up, he was energetic and ready, ooh we got the cutest pictures after the rest, it was so worth the wait.

In all this, my husband had no idea what I had done, I knew it was going to be a big surprise to him so I kept quiet about it waiting for the pictures to arrive. Pictures arrived 3 days later and I sent some of them to my husband to see his reaction, didn't even take him 10min before he uploaded it online with the caption.

He was so impressed that I didn't take his advice, he was so in love with the pictures, sent them to every family member and posted it on all of the platforms he joined, changed his wallpaper and profile pictures, it was a proud daddy moment. 

I look at these pictures and thank God for the amazing gift he has given us, even if I see him every moment beside me but being able to freeze a moment with pictures that I can look back to and smile at is just adorable
