Project FeederWatch -- Week #04 Report 2021-2022 Season
This weeks featured birds are a White-breasted Nuthatch and a Red-bellied Woodpecker.

I typically watch birds on Saturday and Sunday.  This is my report for 4-5 December 2021.

### Red-bellied Woodpecker

The Red-bellied Woodpecker really likes shelled peanuts.

### White-breasted Nuthatch

The White-breasted Nuthatch also enjoys eating shelled peanuts.

The White-breasted Nuthatch takes the peanut back to the Indian Magic Crabapple tree. The White-breasted Nuthatch places the peanut into its favorite knot in the tree and proceeds to peck at the peanut while upside down.

When there is snow on the ground that is when the birds really rely on bird feeders.

It has been really cold here today.  The birds are going through a lot of peanuts today.
