# SALT Lending Update

Dear SALT Community,

As the year winds down SALT is ramping up! The final week of 2017 has been our most productive week-to-date. Below are the highlights. 


### SALT Platform and Loan Application Launch

This week SALT went live with our lending platform. You will find the loan application in your dashboard. As loans are issued[1] the platform will grow and evolve. Security will always be our first priority in this process so we appreciate your patience. We have already received a high volume of loan requests and are excited to serve our community. SALT Members grew by nearly 20% this week and the number of funded loans continues to grow.  

**Active members:** 43,543
**Funded loans:** $3,000,000 (approx.)


### SALT Shop Orders

Orders from our online shop have begun shipping. Thank you for your patience as the Shop begins to hit its stride.
