The Evolution Of Web2 To Web3: A Paradigm Shift In Digital World

The digital world has experienced an extraordinary evolution over the past years. From what it was called static web to a dynamic web2 platform where we can communicate, share and connect with each other, However there is a new and better wave of change which is trending and has taken the world by surprised, web2 is gradually give way to this waves called the web3 platforms which has brought a paradigm shift in the digital landscape.

The emergency of web2 in the early 2000s, was the beginning of a significant shift from the early days of the internet. Web2 came in and introduced a new interactive web experience. The introduction of web3 has caused a drastic change that has brought a great light to the life of the users. In the past day before the introduction of web3 we were limited, not having the ability to own our data and digital assets. Web2 is just so centralized in the sense that the creators alone have access to every information.

In the web2 platform, users' data is being collected and traded by the owners of this platform, the more before they spend their time on this platform the more the creators earn why the users are left without. This design has hindered a lot of users from having full access to Their own data and can't monetize it. However the introduction of web3 platform of which "Hive" is a perfect example came in and empowered users with the ability to own their data by implementing a sustainable Blockchain technology that allows users to create content and earn crytop rewards. In this web3 platform each user becomes a full controller of their activities as one can decide to be anonymous in the platform and still enjoy the benefits. These amazing features and opportunities offered by web3 platform are a game changing one from what it was in web2, as web2 promises to build a more sustainable, and reliable ecosystem.

Long ago we had Web 1.0 (read-only Web) Then Web 2.0 (participative social Web) came along and people moved on from Web 1.0. Now we have Web 3.0 (read, write, execute Web) and it's only a matter of time before people move this way as well.
