He conocido personas cuyos gustos musicales están bien delimitados, jamás escuchan diferentes estilos musicales de los que conforman su playlist, aman determinados sonidos y de allí no desean salir. Yo, en cambio, siempre he tenido un gusto muy *random* al momento de escuchar música. Si bien, aunque no es lo usual en una cantante, no soy de escuchar mucha música cuando lo hago suelo pasearme por diferentes géneros musicales, tan variados que a veces me sorprendo.
>I have met people whose musical tastes are well defined, they never listen to different musical styles from those that make up their playlist, they love certain sounds and they don't want to leave. I, on the other hand, have always had a very *random* taste when listening to music. Although it's not usual for a singer, I don't listen to a lot of music when I do, I usually wander through different musical genres, so varied that sometimes I surprise myself.



A veces voy a una canción, pues la he escuchado de alguien más y quiero recordar la original, otras veces busco covers de determinados temas, en otros momentos me topo con canciones que no conozco en redes sociales, programas de streaming o en la radio y luego salgo a buscar de qué canción se trata. 
>Sometimes I go to a song, because I've heard it from someone else and I want to remember the original, other times I look for covers of certain songs, at other times I come across songs I don't know on social networks, streaming programs or on the radio and then I go out to look for what song it is.

Muchas veces entro para escuchar y detallar las voces, estudiar la técnica que poseen y ver cómo puedo aplicarla para mis interpretaciones, me fijo en la posición de los labios del artista, en su corporalidad al momento de entonar determinada nota, escucho con detalle la pronunciación al cantar, ese análisis me gusta y me ayuda a mejorar como cantante.
>Many times I enter to listen and detail the voices, study the technique they have and see how I can apply it to my interpretations, I look at the position of the artist's lips, in his body when intoning a certain note, I listen in detail the pronunciation when singing, that analysis I like and helps me to improve as a singer.

Hoy quiero mostrarles tres de esas canciones que pertenecen a mi gusto musical *random*, no tienen ninguna conexión entre ellas, varían en género, color de voz, instrumentos utilizados. Son tan diferentes y tan únicas para mí, de cada una he aprendido un poco más sobre el canto.

Esta canción pertenece al folclore venezolano, interpretada por una de las voces más hermosas que tiene la música de mi país, como es *Lilia Vera*. La escuché en el Encuentro de Talentos de Palnet y me hizo viajar en el tiempo, recordé un hermoso momento musical de mi vida.
>This song belongs to the Venezuelan folklore, interpreted by one of the most beautiful voices that the music of my country has, such as *Lilia Vera*. I listened to it at the Palnet Talent Meeting and it made me travel back in time, I remembered a beautiful musical moment in my life.

Hace algunos años tuve la oportunidad de viajar a la ciudad de Coro, estado Falcón, para participar en un evento coral. En esa ocasión pude disfrutar del talento de un grupo coral de jubilados, recuerdo que cantaron esa canción y lo hicieron con tanta energía y belleza que los presentes quedamos encantados. *¡Un gran disfrute!*

De esta canción me gusta su cadencia, ese ritmo tan étnico, la letra es todo un poema al amor, escrita por Gian Marco quien es un gran cantautor. Cantar esta canción requiere mucha actitud, su coro no para, la respiración es vital, por eso me gusta tanto, pues la veo como un gran reto.
>I like the cadence of this song, that ethnic rhythm, the lyrics are a poem to love, written by Gian Marco who is a great singer-songwriter. Singing this song requires a lot of attitude, its chorus does not stop, breathing is vital, that's why I like it so much, because I see it as a great challenge.

Cuando se entrena la voz este tipo de canciones es muy útil porque ayuda a establecer patrones de ritmo, tal vez por eso me gusta escuchar de todo un poco, así puedo aprender un poco más sobre mi voz.
>When training the voice this type of song is very useful because it helps to establish rhythm patterns, maybe that's why I like to listen to a little bit of everything, so I can learn a little more about my voice.

El ensamble de voces con el cual comienza esta canción me gusta mucho, encuentro que la letra es poderosa y retrata la traición de una manera sumamente dolorosa. Me atrevo a decir que esta genial joven llamada Olivia Rodrigo ha hecho de las canciones de rupturas amorosas su sello, sus sencillas frases que logran que te identifiques, si alguna vez tuviste una decepción amorosa seguro lo harás.

I dare to say that this great young woman named Olivia Rodrigo has made of love breakup songs her trademark, her simple phrases that make you identify yourself, if you ever had a love disappointment for sure you will.

Me gusta mucho la parte donde dice: *Guess you didn't cheat but you're still a traitor*, algo así como *Creo que no me fuiste infiel pero igual eres un traidor*, resume muchos sentimientos, pues la traición puede tomar muchas formas. Esta chica tiene una voz potente, me gusta escucharla ya que admiro sus *beltings* y esos falsetes que logra colocar muy diligentemente. A esta canción le haré una versión corta en español, para mi sección de *Music Samples, canciones que dicen la verdad*. 
>I really like the part where he says: *Guess you didn't cheat but you're still a traitor*, something like *I think you weren't unfaithful to me but you're still a traitor*, it sums up many feelings, because betrayal can take many forms. This girl has a powerful voice, I like to listen to her because I admire her *beltings* and those falsettos that she manages to place very diligently. I will make a short version of this song in Spanish, for my section of *Music Samples, songs that tell the truth*.
