<h2>Burning Still</h2>

When we have burned our wicks
Down to their very end,
And we know more of
Early mornings than late nights.

When our night clubs have changed
To four o’clock buffets.
When wrinkles grace our brows
And we fade into gray.

Then this love will burn still,
Yes, brighter day by day.
Age will prove the strength to
Hold an ocean of faith.

As our bodies decay,
Our blue eyes will become 
More vibrant and alive,
Year by year, day by day.
