Indeed somedays it's easy,
Indeed somedays it's hard,
Indeed some days I'd like to
Crumple up and just discard.

Yes sometimes I am early
Yes sometimes I am late
Yes some times I forget,
That blessed are those who wait.

No I will not be leaving,
No I will not now stay,
No I will not here pretend
That I even have a say.

If only I were better,
If only I were worse,
If only I were not bound
To end up inside a hearse.

So though it may be easy,
So though it may be hard,
I will give it all I have
To leave it better for my part.
