***My Thought*** It's been a while I watched a movie and at the end, I am like what the hell was the movie all about because I do not understand what it was all about. ***Happiness Ever After*** kinda seems to me like a continuation of a particular movie I have watched but unfortunately I can't remember the movie but notwithstanding, watching the movie was absolutely the worst way I could use to wind away time for myself. <center> [Image Source](https://m.imdb.com/title/tt14307890/)</center> I mean the beginning kinda looked like a great movie but in-between the movie it seems like it had no direction and a re-play of a particular setting over and over again. One of the reasons I was pushed to click the movie first before any other movie on my movie library was because of the name and the characters involved, you know, I always believed the South African are great at acting most especially how they never leave behind their culture in any movie but this movie has kinda proved me wrong. The starting was great and how I had envisioned the end of the movie in line with the topic didn't play out well like I had anticipated although I kinda liked it I would have loved it if it was well presented cutting out some unnecessary scenes making it boring for me. ***About The Movie*** <center> [Image Source](https://www.netflix.com/ng/title/81387787?preventIntent=true)</center> Happiness Ever After was released November 10, 2021 (United States) although a South Africa movie and its official site are Netflix and its runtime is 1 hour 39 minutes. It is a Drama Romance Genres and the cast are Renate Stuurman, Khanyi Mbau, Nambitha Ben-Mazwi, Richard Lukunku, Yonda Thomas, Daniel Etim Effiong, and Xolile Tshabalala. ***The Plot*** It's about three friends who became sisters, Zaza is a widow, having lost her husband a year ago, Princess is a woman whose boyfriend (Leo) dumped her after she became pregnant but fortunately, she moved on with a very good looking guy named Maxwell who is a control freak and Zimkita is a good beautiful yogi/ cafe owner whose boyfriend left her without saying anything and she is looking to find love as she begins her new life. <center> [Image Source](https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.news24.com/amp/channel/movies/reviews/happiness-ever-after-20211109)</center> After four years, Leo returns and pleads to have a place in the life of his daughter (Thato) which eventually leads to Maxwell breaking the engagement because he realizes that Princess still loves Leo and both had been seeing each other behind his back. After one year of Zara being a widow, her laws come into her home and finances most especially her husband's sister (Fakazile), and decided to run the affair of the home and business finances which leaves Zara no option but to react by making some questionable choices which at first was not the best but after her mother-in-law talked to her and her sister-in-law she decided to take her steps the right way. Zimkhita meets Yonda (Yonda Thomas) at Princess art gallery showcase, there they had a connection and decide to see each other. Yonda was a playboy who is not interested in relationships but Zimkhita was in search of love and when the relationship was not going anywhere other than romance and flings she decided to focus more on her job. As a yoga instructor, she is honest about what she wants At Zimkhita’s, surprise birthday party, Yonda decides to come out clean and tell her he wants her and would want them to give their relationship a try. ____ ____ The movie ends with Zaza venturing into her late husband's business with the help of her sister in law who would be teaching her, and Yonda giving the relationship a try once again after being left at the altar by his fiance and Princess living alone with her daughter but that is the part that is not clearer because Leo was seen with her.
