Ariana is from a poor background that barely feeds three times a day and she and her mother have to hawk in the street most times if they want to eat.

Ariana is the only child and daughter of her parents although her father died at a young age and left nothing for her mother to help carter with Ariana's needs and education.

James on the other hand is the only son of his wealthy parents and the heir to his father. Although he has two senior siblings who are married in based outside the country.

James is done with his first degree and almost done with his master's degree while Ariana isn't able to go past her Secondary Education, so she really to hawking while gathering up enough money to further her education.

James and Ariana met at a friend's birthday and immediately, both fell in love with each other. It's been one year since their relationship started and they've been seeing each other.

Their relationship blossomed and James felt it was the right time to let his parents know about his newfound love and the future plans he has for their relationship.

The date was set, although Ariana was nervous, she was willing to take this step because she was sure of her feeling for James. She wore her best dress and as plan, James came to pick her up from her house.

What she didn't know was that she was going to get the worst embarrassment of her life. James's parents didn't even wait for her to step into their home before she was bombarded with so many questions concerning her family and background.

Ariana could see the shock written on Jame's parents' faces when they realized that Ariana wasn't what they had anticipated their son to bring back home. So they called her all sorts of names and warned her never to come close to their son because she wasn't good enough for him.

Ariana left their compound with so many tears streaming down her eyes but not without promising herself never to stop there but to continue fighting till she attains a greater height better than now.

She could hear James calling her but she wasn't ready to stop and talk to him because she had nothing to tell him. 

While Ariana was running, she did not know when she ran into the middle of the road and got herself knocked out by a car. She was rushed to the hospital, although she survived she never stopped crying when she became conscious.

The good Samaritan couldn't help but ask her what was the problem, after she had finished explaining herself, the man promised to send her to school to what level she wished to go.

Ariana was so excited and when she finally got home, she told her mom the news although her mom was skeptical about it she wasn't going to take away what makes her daughter happy.

Ariana was enrolled in a school, wrote her exams, and came out flying colors but she wouldn't stop there, she went in search of a job and she was also going to the University. 

After five years, she came out as the best in her class and came back home to meet her mom. Throughout her year's in school, Ariana never went into any relationship even though most of her friends suggested it because she still loved James and only decided not to talk or contact James even when James tried reaching out to her because she wanted to prove to James' parents that money isn't everything in life.

James on the other hand has been introduced to many girls by her parents whose background is like theirs but James never loved any of them and always scar those ladies away with his cold attitude.

His parents were tired but they never stopped with the search of trying to pair their only son with the girls from their same social status. James deeper himself into his work and never had time to socialize with anybody because he stilled loved Ariana and wanted her back. He has gone to her house but was told by her mother that she had traveled and won't be coming back, called her but she had barred his number from calling her.

Ariana got a job in a big firm that gave her a house and a car of her own in a beautiful area. Well, as fate may like it, she lived in James' parent neighborhood without both parties aware of that.

One day, while heading to work, she was stopped by an old lady who pleaded with her to go with her in her car as her car just developed a fault and the mechanic would be late arriving. Ariana at once recognized the woman as James' mother and decided to help her not without revealing herself to her.

James's mother was shocked and begged for forgiveness and also pleased with Ariana to accept her son back, telling her that her son has remained single and miserable after the whole incident.

She was invited over to their house to meet with James and when James saw her, he was shocked but filled with joy because his long-lost love came back and to realize that although they were separated, their love never ended.

They got married and lived happily ever after.
