There's a county here in FL that is thinking of making it so teachers and other school faculty can receive training and become deputized in order to allow them to carry guns on campus and the only people who will know which teachers are armed is the school principle.

I don't know if it was an official policy or not but when I was a teacher most or all the janitors were ex-special forces so that made me not worry about things and of course about a third of states, including Massachusetts where we don't have any school shootings, allow teachers to carry with various requirements. I knew at least two teachers who carried guns at school.

Question: If someone "illegally" carries a gun in a "Gun Free Zone", and avoid with a shot that someone carries out a mass murder, will he be prosecuted anyway for carrying a gun there?

It's a serious question, because I really don't understand the logic of a gun free zone, that's basically saying "you can only carry guns here if you do not respect the law", for me it's absurd, I just don't understand it.

If they don't know you're carrying there are no such thing as no-gun zones. I don't have a permit to carry but it doesn't mean I'm not carrying. Revolvers leave no casings too.
