writers of fiction have 'beta testers'...I'm sure you're familiar with the concept.
a small group of people who read the manuscript, check for various errors and advice the author if it's ready for publication or not.

the point is that they are NOT the general public.

I get your point but I think you can make the case that 425K arent really the general public either.

Plus, with the vice news, steem is looking much better than it did 24 hours ago.

By the way, I started to use busy.org...it works like a champ for commenting and upvoting.  Still trying to figure out all the ins and outs for posting an article.

Anyway, I love your consistent pressure on the steemit development team...it is up to us to point out shortcomings.  

I believe they will get it fixed as my last 4 posts show. :)

I understand your point even though I don't agree with it.
When _gmail_ first came on the scene...it issued _invites_ to a select 'few'
when those few identified the bugs they released it to the general population.
THEN
Marketing got involved and fixed what wasn't broken (but that's ***another*** story)
one would think that the bright boys and gurls at steemit could learn from their mistakes.
Oh Wait..they just hired a marketing guru

Seriously though.  Do you think "logo people" could be working on logos (who don't know how to code or program or build website stability?)

...and the t-shirt makers (who also don't code or program) could just focus on t-shirts.

Surely you don't think the developers have put their keyboards away and are sitting there drawing logos and silk screening t-shirts do you?

Years ago when I dealt with fabric companies that couldn't get an order out by the specified date it was always the word that there was a yarn problem. LOL
