Today I learned about a more logical Explanation for the Egyptian Pyramids

The great pyramids at Giza were used as waterworks for pumping water from the Nile to the vast fields, while the Cheops (Khufu) pyramid was the largest waterworks of ancient Egypt. In short, that is the essence of a theory put forth by Mikhail Volgin, an engineer from Kiev, Ukraine. Volgin believes he has unraveled the mystery of the pyramids that dates back to 26th century B.C. Well, the Kiev engineer is not the first one to generate similar theories…

Manes more sense than ancient aliens, but I'm still not buying it. That's not how any of those things actually work. No indication of test models or anything scientific to demonstrate the theory is given.

Religious monument and tombs. It's pretty well-understood that the pyramids were robbed shortly after construction despite the attempts to make them secure, and there has been considerable debate over how hard it really would have been to build them.
