There were many more just looking for a free place to stay. There were many who came looking for a different world as the world that they had known was crushing their soul. There were many who came to learn and contribute. There were many looking for guidance, the opportunity to overcome their addictions, and/or a place to heal. There were some wanting a safe place to get off the streets. And there were a few who came to spy and steal.</p> <p><br> People just wanted to be free as they had never had a real chance for it in their present lives. Everyone had their own ideas of what it meant to stay home and not have a βjobβ. Some said this too was their dream and were excited to jump on in, and contributed what they were capable of. Some complained that we worked too hard as they were really searching for a life of leisure - little did they know we held the standards of investing all of our waking hours to building our beautiful, sustainable life. Some wanted to come and do whatever they wanted, which sometimes was nothing at all but hang out. Some wanted to come and express themselves - frequently without consideration for others. Some acted like they were entitled to freedom, though they had no idea how to responsibly engage it.</p> <p><br> <img src="https://scontent-dfw5-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/1958536_10203746123960948_3405324762534051592_n.jpg?_nc_cat=110&_nc_ht=scontent-dfw5-1.xx&oh=6505db468d47d2580d79eb9ae00e55c2&oe=5D223721" width="720" height="960"/></p> <p><br></p> <p>After seeing how the majority of people handled freedom and our experience with many freeloaders, people who were broken, incompetent, irresponsible and some even downright hateful, Quinn decided to make a new shift. No longer was he offering the opportunity for freedom at our expense to anyone who just walked through our gates. It became very apparent that freedom only comes with responsibility, so everyone who came (except under certain healing circumstances) would have to first show they were responsible with their time, our sacred space, provisions and good nature.</p> <p><br> We were providing for everyone all the fresh and healthy food they could possibly eat, safe/dry shelter, bedding, clothing, electricity, wifi, water, laundry facilities, an education on how to procure all of those things for themself, hands-on one-on-one tutoring with tools and experienced masters in many fields, community camaraderie, emotional support, and an opportunity to be a part of something greater than the self. They received the chance for rebooting their life without fear of how they would get their needs met.</p> <p><br> All we asked for in return was for them to be responsible and honorable people. That included taking responsibility for their own feelings, words, actions, the commitments and agreements they made, and their own happiness.</p> <p><br> <img src="https://scontent-dfw5-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/308531_2401291319045_590900225_n.jpg?_nc_cat=104&_nc_ht=scontent-dfw5-1.xx&oh=9d51be1f42b1c78bc560e07fb88c585e&oe=5CE5329D" width="960" height="640"/></p> <p><br> For some taking responsibility for themselves was extremely difficult as they were already on the path of blaming others for their experience. They had already long ago given away their power and were victims of their own circumstances. The intentions people had deep down inside always showed up in the space. No matter what they did or how they behaved, they were ultimately physically and soulfully responsible for themselves. Karma is real and on their tail --catching them eventually.</em></p> <p><br> <em>Those who came in love thrived, and we created some magnificent and priceless memories together. We can feel who is our soul family, and they know it too.</em></p> <p><br> <em>Regardless of their intentions, they all got what they came for, and so did we. The problem is that not all really understand what the word freedom actually mean, just like many people know love as a mere word, they never experienced it's realness . Well, with them or without them, the garden is flourishing. I never understand all these about the garden not until now, but now that I do, my love for the garden is increasing. I love what you are building, nothing help us to perform best than the freedom. I hope to one day make it there to share the experience with you.
