Silver Lining Days

It's been awhile since I've spoken to "you" but lately I've had a steady feeling of positivity. Sort of like an inner vibe that no matter what happens, everything is not going to be just alright, but outstanding. At first I thought it may have simply been anticipation of the November election, then realized it's not that, but something deeper.

A couple days ago, I could hear my neighbor sounding like he was getting sick late at night. It didn't bother me too much as I'd assumed he'd had too much to drink. However when I awoke, it was still going on so I knew something unusual was happening. Contacting the management, we all watched him taken away to the hospital. Everyone was hoping it wasn't covid-19, but I had this calm come over me that he would be ok. Happily, he's now home and back to his normal joyful self.

I've seen numerous situations recently where many happy endings like this just keep on occurring. The sustained result is now a sharpened feeling of waiting for things to turn around and seeing life right itself at the end of the day.

With this positive sensation, it's easy now to not only prepare for, but to welcome the good things that seem to flow all around me like one of those islands in the middle of a slow-moving river. I call these "Silver Lining Days" and plan to enjoy the ride for as long as I can. Have you ever had times like this?
