In posts about a trip to the Vologda region, I have already mentioned the word "lava" as the local name for a suspended pedestrian bridge. It turned out that there is also a suspension bridge across the Vologda River.

The closest bridge of this type turned out to be a bridge in the village of Molochnoye of Vologda region.

This bridge is made of metal.

This is not the only lava across the Vologda River - I found at least two more bridges on the map.

But this is definitely the only bridge that is made entirely of iron.

The Vologda River is still not quite wide here.

But after the Toshnya river flows into it, Vologda becomes much wider and it is already much more difficult to build suspension bridges on it.

An iron bridge will last much longer than a wooden one, but such a bridge does not look presentable at all.

If I had known in advance that this bridge was so boring, I would not have gone to it.
