Each person associates travel with a long trip, but sometimes I like to travel almost near my home. Everyone wants to go as far as possible, but do not notice the beauty and uniqueness of places right under his nose.

Peremilovo - a village in the Veliky Ustyug district of the Vologda region. It is part of the Mardenga rural settlement. The distance by road to the regional center of Veliky Ustyug is 8 km, to the center of the municipality of the village of Annunciation - 9 km.

A lot of people pass by the village of Peremilovo every day. Many could see on the way to the "fairytale wizard" houses standing far away on a small hill. It would seem that what could be interesting in a village that is located close to the city? People live there for sure, there are definitely a lot of new houses and, most likely, there can be no distinctive atmosphere. Let's check it out!

Two roads lead to the village for a reason: through Peremilovo it will be difficult to drive through in off-season. I started with the one closest. On my left I am met by an abandoned house standing in the bushes.

It turns out that Peremilovo is a very large village and what is visible from the high road is only a small part. The rest of the houses are carefully hidden from the eyes of passing people by thickets of shrubs and young pines.

What about the atmosphere? I want to say that here is not at all what I expected to see.

At the very beginning of the village are newer houses and dachas.

It was there that the cozy rustic atmosphere was preserved, which I always try to feel, feel and absorb in every place I visit.

In the old days, only the whole village was surrounded by a fence, and each individual house had no fences. Where it has survived to this day, there is that atmosphere of antiquity. That is why I mention it so often.

And if you managed to feel something kind, open, comfortable, homely in any place in such a dull season, it means that such an atmosphere always reigned here.

Take a look at how kindly and openly a house looks without a fence! Would it be better to fence off with a solid metal profile of poisonous blue colour two meters high? After this, it remains to put on the chain a furious, constantly barking dog that is no less than a fence, hang on the facade of satellite dishes, stick in ugly plastic windows. Then disassemble the roof and on its place build a square second floor from a beam...oh, something bore me.

But this village will live for a long time and the main task of its inhabitants is to preserve the atmosphere.
