Vozdvizhenie - a village in the Veliky Ustyug district of the Vologda region, located on the bank of the river Sukhona. It is part of the Mardengsky rural settlement. The distance by road to the district center of Velikiy Ustyug is 4 km, to the center of the municipal formation of the Blagoveschenie is 11.5 km. Previously, there was a large stone church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross on the hill. But it was dismantled in the 1930s. Now Exaltation (Vozdvizhenie in russian) is a common holiday village.
