Good day everyoneee!! It's me again, Im here to tell you about my experience of taking CSS NC2 in Talisay buckle up since this is gonna be a longgggg story. So first in foremost let me give you a little context. Last year our teacher told us that we can't OJT if we're not a NC2 holder so he encouraged us to find a way that we can be NC2 holder before we enter to 3rd Year.

For those who don't know what is CSS NC2, according to google ( CSS NC II stands for Computer Systems Servicing National Certificate Level II. It's a nationally recognized certification in the Philippines that signifies a person's competency in installing, configuring, maintaining, and repairing computer systems and networks. It's a vocational training program, offering practical skills and career opportunities in the ICT field. )

So back to the story, Luckily at that time our other instructor offered to us that he knows someone who can train us to be a CSS NC2 holder but we need to pay 2k. We were little hesitant at first because that's a huge money for us but he encouraged us that that's actually a deal breaker since 2k is the lowest price. The teacher also told us that in that 2k includes our training of 5 days and also for assessment. So we grabbed the chance and so the day of our training begins, the training are going to happend in our school campus we were happy because we didn't have to travel a long way. But at the time of our training there was only 2 pc and we were 40 students so not all students can hands on. And our training was around December almost christmas so we were rushing it since Christmas holiday was getting nearer. Unfortunately we were able to have 2 days of training only so we were a bit disappointed but our teacher assured us that he would train us again before we take our assessment. But months passed and we were getting anxious since our date for assessment has been finalized and we still haven't had a another training. Instead our teacher sent us some youtube videos that he made that contains our training. Our teacher decided to divide us to 10 students each batch since and a lot of my classmates have already taken the test and they were lucky to have a good and chill assessor. Their assessor passed all of them though not all of them were able to finish doing all COC1-COC4 so we were envious of them a little.

On the night before the D-DAY me and my other classmates decided to wake up early to specify the time 2 am in the morning since we though it would be traffic and we wouldn't want to be late. At first i was hesitant since 2 am is too early and i couldn't study the videos that our teacher sent since i was bc the whole week and i decided to study on our way there.So our schedule for assessment is on May 5, 2025 was my assessment schedule, luckily me and my friend had the same date so i was kind relieved and a lot from my classmates. The night before the D-DAY  i decided to sleep at 9 pm since i have to wake up early, i only have 3 hours left to depart. I woke up at 1 am i did my usual routine and at 2:30 i got a text that my classmate is already at the terminal and he's waiting for me there. So i rushed going there, when i got there he was waiting for a bus so that we can go immediately. At 3:10 am we were on our way to SM MABOLO and when we arrived we were laughing cause it looks like we came too early and it looks like we were the one whose gonna open the SM hahahaha.

Since it was still too early, we headed to the MyBus terminal, which is where we would be traveling to reach Talisay. While we were waiting for our classmates to arrive me and my friend talked about our thesis and other things. Finally after an hour of waiting our classmates finally arrived at the terminal at 4 am. After that we lined up to buy a ticket for the bus fare and we hopped on the bus and luckily the bus know where we were going so we were at ease.

We shortly arrived at the landmark but we still need to ride a tricycle to finally arrived at our destination. Luckily there was a tricycle waiting but theres only one and theres a lot of us so one of our classmate need to sit on our other classmate lap so that we could fit in and we were laughing about cause they were both boys and the tricycle is kinda small.

After a while we arrived at our destination and there were a few of our classmate's already waiting for our assessor to arrive. While waiting we chatted and since i didn't eat breakfast and i was hungry i bought a cold coffee drink and a biscuit at the convenience store near there.

While eating i watched the YouTube video that our prof sent to us to study for the assessment. At 9 am our assessor has arrived and told to study for a bit and be ready she still need to prepare our papers. After a short while she came back and brought a lots of papers and then she started to orient us on what to do first we need to answer a 1-30 questions multiple choice then if we were done we have to proceed to demonstration of the COC1-4 and we have 5 hours to do it and lastly she will interview us at the end.

And so it begins in the 1-30 questions i didn't know the answers of all the questions so i just answered anything hahahah. After that i proceed to the demonstration the COC1 was easy but the COC2 i couldn't seem to make them light this was the time that i was struggling and our assessor told us that if we want to finish all of the COC1-4 we need to be finish the COC2 before lunch. But unfortunately we couldn't finished the COC2 before lunched so we went to grab a quick lunch like literally quick 5 minutes and I'm done eating that was the fastest i have eaten.

After that i rushed to go back to the room so that i could finished what i started. After so many RJ45 wasted i finally got it to worked! . I was shocked that i was able to and i didn't believe that i could. After so many hours, i finished it at 2 pm so i only have little time to start the COC3. So after that i started the COC3 but i didn't study it all since earlier while studying i was just focus on the COC1-2 cause i know that i wouldn't be able to go to COC3. So i started the COC3 by the help of my seat mate but i couldn't finished it. It was kinda sad that i couldn't finished the COC3 but i was little bit happy that i finished the COC2.

At 3pm our assessor told us that its times up and we need to clean our desk while she will interview in each one of us. While cleaning me and my classmates talked about what happened and sadly just a few of us had finished the COC2. After a short while it was my time to be interviewed she just told me that she couldn't write down that I'm qualified for NC2 Holder but she will marked that i have finished the COC1-2. And she also said that i could retake the test anytime and the only test that i would be taking is the COC3-4.

Afterwards it's time to go home but I've made plans with my cousin to go run some errands with her and we decided to meet up at emall. So after a short while i arrived first and i waited for about 10 minutes and then my cousin arrived. We plan to roam around the emall first since i need to find a tie for my costume for our event which is Japanese Lantern Festival. I will be cosplaying as Mitsuha of The movie called Your Name, but sadly after roaming around they don't have a ribbon type of a necktie so i just DIY which is a ribbon hairpin and i just used a pin to secure it in my shirt (heres a pic of me hehe).

So after i found that we decided to go to carbon since we need to buy some flowers and vegetables for her brother's death anniversary. We just walked from emall to carbon i thought it would be far but it's not that far and i didn't know that carbon is so near to University of San Jose. After a few walk we arrived at the carbon and decided to buy first the flowers we went inside the carbon since that's we're the flower section is and after we looked around we decided to buy the bouquet that is already tied up.

After that we went for the where the vegetables are since we needed to buy some ingredients for some dish that they will prepare. While my cousin was buying the vegetables i was shocked on how cheap it is to buy vegetables in there we were able to buy so many vegetables under 1k budget! After we finished buying everything we needed me and my cousin went straight to SM mabolo to go home at this time it was already 5 pm and i was hungry so my cousin told me that she will treat me since i run the errand with her.

A few moments, we arrived at SM mabolo and we went hunting for foods since the two of us were hungry. I was just okay with Jollibee but my cousin insisted that we try something else so we went to a Japanese restaurant. The interior was stunning!! You could really feel that your in japan and the staff was so accommodating and the food was good!! I would recommend it that you try this restaurant.

While we were eating my cousin always talked about eating a cheese cake at Starbucks and she insisted that we stopped by there to satisfy her cravings since it's been a week since she had this craving i told her jokingly that she might be pregnant and she just laughed and said i wish hahahahah. So yeah we decided to stopped by to Starbucks before we went home. After we finished eating we went straight ahead to Starbucks and I'm telling you it was my first time trying starbucks. When we arrived my cousin went straight a head to the counter to order and my order is a coffee drink i forgot the name while my cousin's dink is a strawberry drink and a cheese cake. I was shocked that they made the drink so fast it was less than 5 minutes and then our drink was already made.

While we were eating we were talking about life have been recently and let me tell you the drinks in the Starbucks are slightly just slightly taste similar to the those drinks who are less cheaper. After we chitchat we decided that its time to go home so we went to the terminal which is located at the back of SM mabolo and after we bought the tickets and went to our bus and seated. It was a long day for me since i woke up too early, i was too tired and i slept all the way home. So that's it this is the end of my daily blog!!! Thank youu for reading this long story of mine.
