# ExiledRealm: Updates to the Relmlings Project
Hello Friends!
Development can often feel like a never-ending process that takes far more time than anticipated. Even when you plan out every detail, it’s easy to get caught up in the nuances of the task and find yourself spending more time and energy than you’d like. It’s important to remain patient through the process and remember that quality results often come from taking your time. Pushing forward without adequately assessing and planning can lead to a project that lacks the depth and detail needed for success. While the process may take longer than expected, it’s important to stay focused and trust it for the best outcome.
Over the last month, we worked on finalizing the 3D art while holding down some full-time work, juggling family, social life, and more. But, move forward, we did!
Today we are happy to say that the 3d Side of the first batch of cards (the Fighter) is finished! We have also done a test export of the JASON file, and our developer thinks they can work with it to get the cards onto HIVE! So again, WOOT!
Here is the test run of the cards from the Cloud Land.

About the cards to be minted...
Each of the 13 lands in the game will have 770 cards for a Total Standard card run of 10,010. Total Gold level of 2,509, Total Dimond level of 1,001, and Total Black level (the rarest and powerful) of 507!
With the test and mint looking good, and the developer says he can work with the ERC-20 Jason file and convert it into a file we can use on HIVE; we will do an initial run of 770 cards to see if they all process right, then do the entire image generating.
It would be nice to upload the 3d file and generate the assets from that 3d File as they are minted or programmatically, but that development will have to wait till later on in the production cycle. For now, they will be static images.
However, we will make the 3d File available when the game is launched, and people can then use it to, we hope, to make other fun versions of the game!
Next is to get the BEE tokens needed, and mint / upload the graphics and start the sales process on the cards, as we then begin work on the market and game in the backend. Exciting!

## Token Sale
The game will have internal tokens (No surprise with that, right?). Let's talk about how the tokens work a bit more.
### Economy of Relmlings
The game will have a player-driven economy, similar to traditional trading card games. At the heart of that will be the Treasure Token. $TT.
- The Treasure Token ($TT) can be won in matches, bought, and sold on the open market.
- By staking $TT, you will get a governance token called $ETT (Epic Treasure Tokens) that will enable you to vote on community games and in-game changes, much so a governance token.
- All in-game buffs you can buy will be tied to the Treasure Token $TT; any in-game sales will happen with the Treasure token (except for the card NFTs that will be sold for HIVE).
Example: A player may earn 100 treasure tokens in a match but opt to spend 500 for a 24-hour + 1 buff to their treasure earning, so they can earn more over the next 24 hours.
- A 2% transaction tax will be placed on cards traded on the market. These funds would go into buying back the Treasure Tokens on the market and go towards other marketing projects outside the game.
This sort of in-game spending and buyback, we believe, will lead to good in-game commerce and a healthy economy.
### The Governance Tokens
We do want to give power to the people of the realm.
- A Governance token that is acquired via staking $TT. This governance toke will be called the "Epic Treasure Token" or $ETT
- 1 $ETT costs 400,000 ‘staked’ $TT
- Only 2,500,000 $ETT will be Minted
- You earn 10% APY in $TT for staked $ETT
- Holding $ETT allows you to vote on in-game changes and earn additional perks for staking
- Minimal lock-up is for 120 days (Still sorting out how that can happen) to reduce market flux.

- 2 tokens
- Treasure tokens (what you win and spend in-game)
- Epic Treasure Tokens (The Governance Token)
- Player diven in game market.

## Token Pre-Sale
We would love you as a fan and a friend of the project!
- This project is all bootstrapped and self-funded at the moment.
- We need to raise funds for hosting, minting, and more.
- To raise the initial funds, we did a limited minting of Treasure Tokens $TT (the in-game currency) and are selling them at about 1/2 the anticipated price we are looking to launch at when the game is ready.

- When the game is live, the target price of $TT will be 0.001200
If we sell all the pre-sale tokens, 50% of the sale would be powered up to start claiming account tokens and running community events.
The other 50% would be sold, and we would use those funds to pay for initial hosting and other much-needed equipment/skills/BEE tokens to take the project to the next phase.
We will also discuss other initial start-up funding if you have ideas!

## We are Looking for Collaborators
We are on the ground floor here. Lol.
As we get ready to move into the next phase of the product, the listing of cards for sale, we are looking to work with someone to assist with marketing and community growth.
Some of the ask would be:
Marketing lead
- Helping to grow our Discord/socials
- Graphics / Writing content
- General marketing to assist with sales
As part of the team, you will earn a percentage of initial card sales (as the rest of the initial team has agreed to), and when we move into the more traditional business model with secure funding, you will be offered a paid position.
