After reading your story @exyle I've remembered an anecdote:
A guy comes to a restaurant, sits at the table and takes a menu. At first, he wants to order a scrumptious steak that costs $50, but after giving it some thinking, he orders an oatmeal that costs $2 and writes down in his notebook: "I just made $48".

I understand your point with getting the hair clipper and start feeling like your saving money in the long run and your definitely right on that - but at one point it dawned on me that it was making me waste more time on cleaning the hair that fell off and also cleaning the surrounding areas that made me think 

'okay just spend the damn 15dollars instead of wasting 30 minutes'

and reading by your tone of talking about the BTC prices - are you still day trading? C'mon mang its about that long term game

I tried blocktrades for the first time last week, purely because you have promoted it before, it worked a treat! I prefer litecoin though, each to their own I guess, it was worth the try and I will be using this more in future (should I ever accumulate earnings :p)

This piece is just awesome and motivational. The fact is that we waste our money mostly on things which we could have done ourselves just because of our lazy attitude and it would have been the best move if such money could be invested in crypto. I used to think like you about buying quality products.  Unfortunately,  I have lived to an old age with the same good "stuff".  Now I look for a bit more variety.  I still own stuff from the 1970s.

The best investment is to find the top talent to build a bigger and better system to help him make money.

Sometimes if you look at the money you want to invest with, it may be difficult to use the money. We should always remember that the higher your investment, the higher your profit. Let's just be wise and invest.

Very good thinking - I can totally identify with - buy best quality often turns out to be the cheapest long term. I had that with my garden watering system - you can have everything plastic and it breaks in a year or two or you can spend 5x as much and have everything solid for a life time.

The clipper thing is a good example on why to invest in consumer goods and try to save money in the future. The idea is to spend now to avoid spending much more in the future

I have a very different perspective on the hair clippers. I don't see value just in how well they work, for example. I think there is value in the social aspect of going to the barbers.

And in your case, there could be a delayed monetary value. You could be talking to people and spreading the news about crypto and Steemit. So, you might be missing an opportunity! 😁

I agree with you. I do the same now a days. I go to the coiffure once in a two months and do the rest alone. Bought everything I need to style my hair and could save a bit.

I agree, electric hair clipper is a small example but if we follow the same in different things, we may end up saving a bit more, after-all  that a penny saved is a penny earned, truth is even small savings can add up over time. The trick is to find ways to save every single day on different things and remain focused on it.

That’s the thing about consumer goods , we have to circulate money somehow if we save it doesn’t help the economy so I believe even a little helps . The markets aren’t showing us any good move yet .
