Finally got my SMT post together today - was trying to organise it as a marketing pitch, but maybe a little too much jargon in hindsight.

nice post and some fantastic information @exyle, yes you are doing so intelligent thing by saving your SBD for buying steem on those dips and that great and it's also real beneficial for a long term, i am also trying to follow your strategy to buy on dips i hope it also works for me, well and very nice info to  set up an SMT, at first i thought it's difficult to set up an SMT but after reading your post i thought yes it's as easy as 1,2,3, and yes today the weather of Netherlands looks awesome the way wind is blowing and a little sunshine makes it looks more cool and attractive, have a very cheerful week ahead my friend, thanks for sharing

Excellent use of SBD and a great mind of investment point of view its really cool and steem will be up and that too to much this time i think all credit will go to smt this time it is going to be a game changer

I also did the same, bought some Steem. Everything around 1$ for Steem is good entry point. Almost everything around SMT seems to be positive. It is time for Steem to skyrocket.

This is a very correct strategy. I think this is quite reasonable.

Thanks for this @exyle. I am trying to get my head around the SMT concept, but it is exciting to hear that it will be easy to implement. As a music educator, I would like to explore how SMTs could be used for education incentives. For example, as students achieve certain learning goals then can receive tokens. These tokens can be used to 'buy' things: free time, access to special resources, etc. [I am thinking out loud here] I really  think that is is worth exploring and if SMTs are easy enough for someone like me to implement then it is VERY exciting. 

Perhaps Steemit may be a good place to find collaborators on this sort of project. We shall see.

The further we understand the SMT's mechanics the more we get a glimpse on how the future might look, the hype is starting to build and I am curious when steem's price will start reflecting that. Maybe we'll even see an @exyle token :)

I am buying more in the next few days as well.

smt's easy is what going to make it the best amongst all and steem being the main thing in the highlight will certainly boost it up

it's always good to buy Steem when it is down, since Steem has a long way to go and surely the price will increase in few years time.

I just crossed 3000 Steem Power.  I am happy with my progress.  I will be curious to see how much will be required to host an SMT .

Simplicity might even be more important than the utilities. You can have a thousand functions, but if no one understands how to use them it's useless...

All the Steemians are very excited with the SMT's, thank you @exyle for giving us a little more information about it.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around how big SMT's might be. For instance if Big Player X decides to enter the SMT space, how much SP would they need to have to have sufficient bandwidth? I understand that it's really an unanswerable question without having some idea what the varibles "Big" or "sufficient" are, but I wonder what some ballpark numbers might be. And how many Big Players might enter the space. Again, a huge unknown.

But the demand for Steem *might* be enormous. If so, what might happen to the price of Steem? Might those who now hold relatively modest amounts of Steem Power find  themselves quite well off just a few years from now?

And when will Steemit exit the beta stage? If that *also* happens in 2018 at the same time that SMT's take off, might not there be a rush to acquire Steem?

Same like Steemit being such an easy to use platform...I am sure SMT will also be very easy both in creating and using.

That Kik question was really interesting, if only they had waited a few months before implementing their ICO! They could have definitely been the first big SMTs.

if anyone can set up smt's this would make it more easier and it will make the steem blockchain the best of all lots of good things about smt's

I also keep the default payout settings and trade the spread in the internal market. The volatility of Steem in the last couple of weeks can be a benefit that way.

you are slowly collecting steem and its going to be more valuable no doubt about it @exyle its a very nice investment to have keep collection and thanks for sharing update on the vlog :)
