This is the vicious cycle a few of my "crypto compadres" in London are experiencing right now. We had an emergency meeting via group chat this morning. Three of them vented their frustrations of having price annoyingly waiver around between that damned $6000 - $7000 mark. I mean, why can't it right make up it's mind, right? Why can't it just go up from here and stop with these stress-inducing mind games? Why can't...? Why...? **Why can't the flipping price just do what the hell I want it to do???**

I've found the questionable logic behind that statement rings true for many. Especially when they've splurged a whole tonne of investment into it, which is now simply sitting there, collecting dust. Well, unfortunately that's something that comes with the territory. You're gonna get "good" times and "bad" times. But those sudden and euphoric swings in people's behaviour always gets me. Like when the market was rallying like there's no tomorrow a few months back, that was fine. Profit was being accumulated and their investment was, by and large, going the "right" way. There's no problem there, of course. For money was literally pouring into your wallet. That is what's more commonly known as a "happy" event. Creating a rather pleasant feeling of satisfaction within. However, the reverse is equally emotionally charged but in reverse. Money is "leaving" their account. A terrible thing is happening causing negative vibes. That same money that once filled up those tightened purse strings is now flowing back out again! This is, in essence... Unfair!

So what to we do next? Naturally, we start asking around. Finding out how others feel about being burdened with a similar plight to our own. And, admittedly, embracing a little solace in the fact that you're not the only one stuck in purgatory. But the suffering still remains like a dull toothache that refuses to die. Another quick check and the market is still in freefall. The same subdued ache resurfaces with renewed intensity and vigor. Kick in with Plan B. Being either to sell what you have to self-remedy or simply ignore it like it never happened in the first place. It was all just a horrible illusion. A sordid nightmare, that you've willingly hypnotised yourself out of. Nice job...

Time passes and you "hear" through the grapevine that price seems to have put in a bottom. Revisiting your portfoilio like a long lost friend, you initially wince at the damage sustained to your account, but now labour under the newfound hope that things can only improve from here. So, you wait... And wait... And wait some more. Nope, that bottom price ain't budging. A quick spike up in price has the pleasing reaction of giving your inner desperate "hope" a quick spike too, only to get dashed once more as price recedes. Oh shit, you're in that all-too familiar pain all over again...   

*I don't think I can sum up the feelings I've been privy to recently any better than that. We're all in a tough game requiring patience, discipline and resilience. Maybe if my friends realised this, a subtle re-shift in mindset might very well assist to their future monetary actions. Well, I really hope they do, as sometimes I can't help but feel that exact same way too...*
