One of the greatest thing that happened to we humans and also, a sign of been alive is change. This change brought about what we described as evolution i.e. to change from a form to another. Nobody can resist change but the good thing about it is that we have the ability or capacity to find our way round it. With the advent of science and technology, coupled with various human activities, there has been alot of changes with we humans in terms of living and existence, with some on the positive side while some are other which we need to adapt to.

To practically illustrate this, let me use a common example we can relate with which is learning/education and family life. Learning has gone past the  stage of using slates, chalk or even some hardcopies, but now, digitalisation and technology has advanced the course which puts everyone on their toes for an upgrade as against the obsolete. Also, we are now in the era of computer based exams (CBT) with the paper type been phased out. Therefore, anyone who wouldn't upgrade his/her mindset to accept this reality isn't ready yet. Going forward to the family, parenting style in this present era has gone past how it was done in the past.

Now, we have more nuclear family set-up than the extended family set-up which is an evolution from the previous extended/communal setting especially in Africa and some other countries. In this jet age, it has been observed has inquisitive, expressive or quickly children observe and pick things up which left no choice to the parents to be updated aswell so as to flow with this trend. Also, with alot of parents irrespective of work space trying to catch up with the current reality of upskilling and advanced technological inputs into their workspace, many are been absent from home and this affects how some children are raised. There are other evolutionary change but i just chose to limit it to these two for now.

Therefore, to be adaptable to this ever-charging world, each person must come to the realization of the perculiarity of this era and brace up for it especially the older ones. Some of the old practices which in this current dispensation seems outdated should be put away with. Now that children are more exposed and have rapid development interms of intellect, physique and others, intentional parenting is more needed than before even as many are finding it difficult to manage their homes. Also, for anyone who is not literate and most especially, ICT inclined to a reasonable extent, it's never too late unless such person is not opened to learning. Changes are part of life and evolution is not avoidable, but each person must brace up for it as it pertains to such individual and face it.
