Das ist derzeit typisch. Die Mainstream-Medien haben meist nicht wirklich eine echte Ahnung, watschen aber alles, was in Richtung Verschwörungstheorie geht, ab.

Bei meinen Recherchen zu Julian Assange bin ich auch auf einen Artikel gestoßen, der mit echt schwachen Argumenten, aber sehr viel Überzeugung alle Theorien zurückgewiesen hat. 

Ich glaube, wir erleben gerade den Zusammenbruch der "Qualitätspresse". Drauf wird dann die Herrschaft des digitalen Mobs folgen, Trolle, Sockenpuppen und versteckte Zensur werden in ein dunkles Zeitalter führen.

So gesehen können wir etwas wie Steemit echt gut brauchen :=)

Den Eindruck habe ich auch. Es scheint echte Panik zu herrschen und vor allem Ratlosigkeit. 
#Pizzagate ist allerdings echt eine "Herausforderung". Ich will das alles auch nicht glauben, aber es ist denkbar und die Indizien wiegen aus meiner Sicht schwer genug, um nachzuforschen. Umso "schädlicher" sind dann Artikel wie der aus der NY Times, der nur Leute "beruhigen" wird, die sich sonst nichts angesehen haben. Aber die werden immer weniger...
