Embedded - Light Painting on Hive

Evening one and all, I hope life is treating you well and that you are staying sane during this lockdown.

Lightpainting shot from a while back in the Welsh Valleys with some of the UK crew.

We'd have had a few of these meet ups under our belt this year already were it not for this lockdown. I know it's for the good of the people but the next time we all get to meet up is going to be epic. Fingers crossed we don't have to wait too long.

Here is a little breakdown of the night's proceedings.

A superb lp mini break with Quornflake, Mart and Phill in Llanberis. The slate quarry there is insanely massive with far too much to shoot in one evening. The day was spent reccying all the nooks and crannies which in itself was a mammoth task. When night fell we headed to our first spot and got cracking.

It was was great to get out with you all chaps and quality to finally meet Mart.

I think we will return here as this really do the location any justice and there is so much left to shoot including the most insane but hard to access spot I've ever seen. Here's to next time.

My silhouette captured 1st from tripod 1 leaving the inner part of my body in complete darkness whilst blowing out the sky. Next move to tripod 2 in the mouth of a nearby tunnel. Lens cap taken off. I waved the net curtain behind Phill and added some extra orange backlight. Lens cap back on again and I stood down wind blowing a steady cloud of vape into the air. Phill moved and turned the laser on then took off the lens cap for 10 seconds to let the laser burn in.

Great night in great company and glorious surroundings of my favourite slate quarry.
