Hello buddy. . . 

As humans we certainly feel hungry and thirsty. A lot of activity will make us quickly hungry and thirsty. To eliminate thirst then we need water. 

But what about fish? Does the fish feel thirsty? 

The question kept coming to my head. I wonder if the fish feel thirsty while they live in the water? 

Logically, it is very easy to answer the above questions, we can set an example with people living in the pastry shop. Will he be hungry? Based on scientific facts, freshwater fish and seawater show very different behavior when drinking drinking water. 

Why is it different? The answer, because their body anatomy is different. 

Freshwater fish are off minun water, but fish that live in salted water will drink actively, it's done so that their bodies are hydrated at all times.

But freshwater fish suck more water with their gills and skin, this is done to keep the salt balance in their bodies. In contrast, seawater is very susceptible to dehydration because they live in salt-rich water therefore, saltwater fish are very active drinking water than freshwater fish.

Sebagai manusia kita pastinya merasakan lapar dan haus. Aktivitas yang banyak akan membuat kita cepat lapar dan haus. Untuk menghilangkan dahaga maka kita membutuhkan air. 

Namun bagaimana dengan ikan? Apakah ikan merasa haus?

Pertanyaan itu terus datang di kepalaku. Aku berpikir, apakah ikan merasa haus sedangkan mereka hidup di dalam air? 

Secara logika, memang sangat mudah untuk menjawab pertanyaan di atas, kita bisa memberi contoh dengan orang yang hidup di toko kue. Apakah dia akan lapar?

Berdasarkan fakta ilmiah, ikan air tawar dan air laut memperlihatkan perilaku sangat berbeda saat minum air minum. Kenapa bisa berbeda? Jawabannya, dikarenakan anatomi tubuh mereka berbeda.

Ikan air tawar tidak banyak minum air karena jika mereka banyak minum air maka mereka akan beresiko terkena darah encer diakibatkan lingkungan mereka tidak banyak mengandung garam. 

Namun ikan air tawar lebih banyak menghisap air dengan insang dan kulit mereka, hal ini dilakukan untuk menjaga keseimbangan garam di tubuh mereka.

Sebaliknya, ikan air laut sangat mudah merasakan dehidrasi karena mereka hidup di dalam air yang mengandung garam yang banyak oleh karena itu, ikan air asin sangat aktif minum air dibanding ikan air tawar.
