## **My summary - short-term sentiment: bearish** (last: slightly bearish)

- Happy Easter to all
- We are still consolidating around the 7'000 area.
- There is still a lot of hope that we are close to a turning point by @lordoftruth and @haejin
- Tone is looking for a short term correction to the upside and than significant lower targets. @ew-and-patterns turned also bearish looking for new lows.
- With another analyst turned bearish - I put us overall bearish now.


## **News about the blog**
- I need to revise my 2018 long term table. I need to add a 2018 and 2019 target an be more precise on the sentiment here. Will do that after I am back in Switzerland.

### Tone:
- For the purpose of confirming bearish trend he inverted the btcusd chart (1/BTCUSD) and looked at the chart - does that look bullish to you?
- Daily: Due to the hammer candle - the 9 of yesterday and that current candle is trading above last candle he is expecting a 1-4 candle correction to the upside. If bitcoin is turning earlier this is another sign of weakness. His target of 6'000 and than going lower stays.

Bitcoin is holding its support in price and MACD. 
He sees the completion of white wave C and expects upwards move to wave D.

BTCs seems to test new lows. If low does not hold strong we likely see another wave down. Target is than 3'578. He is expecting this move not be an A wave which would lead to B and C (C ending lower than A) but a 2 wave as part of an impulsive move up.

He still sees bearish trend domination until 8'180 is breached. But he thinks that bitcoin is nearing bottom and 5'947 will hold.
Todays trend is slightly bearish. Expected trading for today is between 6'600 and 8'180.

BTC test major trend line support which is established for month now. The range of 7'500 - 7'700 needs to hold. If we break below he is expecting us to retest 6'000. If support holds he sees a rally up.

## **Definition**
- *light blue highlighted* = all content that changed since last update.

- *target* = the next (short term) price target an analysts mentions. This might be next day or in a few days. It might be that an analyst is bullish but sees a short term pull-back so giving nevertheless a lower (short term) target.
- *support/res(istance)* = Most significant support or resistances mentioned by the analysts. If those are breached a significant move to the upside or downside is expected.
- *bottom* =  -> now renamed and moved to long term table. Low 2018
- *low/top 2018* = what is the low or the top expected for 2018?
