## **My summary - short-term sentiment: bullish** (last: bullish)

- So we did it - we overcame the down trend.
- Market seems to be overextended now and a pull back seems likely. To confirm bullish move the former resistances should be retested as support.
- In my opinion current move up is kind of odd - it really seemed pushed in waves - market moved sideways except for 7 or 8 15 min candles which pushed market up. Also that we moved above the trendline just before closing on the daily candle seems like "planned". What does that mean? Not sure - but the market seems manipulated to me. But for now I am enjoying the gains!

- April is used to be a good month for crypto. Lets see how this turns out this time.

- I need to revise my 2018 long term table. I need to add a 2018 and 2019 target an be more precise on the sentiment here. Will do that after I am back in Switzerland.

## **Analysts key statements:**
### Tone:
- Weekly: We are right at the trend line. Good for the bulls is that we are on a 2. Only cautious sign - we had that scenario a month ago and went down.
- Daily: We are trading above swing high and 50 MA which seems to give us a break out. But we still trading below trend line. No matter how high it goes - I would wait for a pull back to confirm support at past resistance as market is currently over extended and therefore he would stay away from trading for now.

Bitcoin has surged to a higher high. Potential iSHS is on the table. The pathway to that is show below. With that we move up to 9'000 and than go down to 8'000.

The current volume seems to be good to support the rally. He has no concern here.

After breakout of down trendline he sees continued bull moves. There are several counts which can work. Down below he likes to share the best fit count. Therefore we would move up to 9'000 and than see a pull back to 8'000.

Bitcoin price has managed to overcome several resistances and now it is above the monster resistance at 8'640 (upmove to 9'120 is expected followed by healthy retracement ). Personally he does not like the current move due to several indicators. He will only engage in a long in a retracement.
If uptrend is sustainable we are in recovery phase and have plenty of room to enter. So he waits for retracement to confirm the uptrend before going long.
Bullish sentiment is canceled if price drops below 7'240.
Todays trend is slightly bullish. Expected trading for today is between 7'900 and 9'122.

He see signs of bearish divergence by comparing "zones" of moving averages. Several coins moving below 200 EMA or between 50 and 200 EMA. Short-term bearish trend needs to be confirmed.

BTC has breached horizontal range to the downside turning his short term bias bearish with price target 7'423. Thereafter he would like to see strong bullish move.

## **Definition**
- *light blue highlighted* = all content that changed since last update.
- *sentiment* = how in general the analysts see the current situation (bearish = lower prices more likely / bullish = higher prices more likely)
- *target* = the next (short term) price target an analysts mentions. This might be next day or in a few days. It might be that an analyst is bullish but sees a short term pull-back so giving nevertheless a lower (short term) target.
- *support/res(istance)* = Most significant support or resistances mentioned by the analysts. If those are breached a significant move to the upside or downside is expected.
- *bottom* =  -> now renamed and moved to long term table. Low 2018
- *low/top 2018* = what is the low or the top expected for 2018?
