## **My summary - short-term sentiment: bearish** (last: bearish)

- @ew-and-patterns is seeing further lows to be imminent. Tone is also very bearish due to the very short recover.
- @lordoftruth is looking for a bounce soon which brings us back into bullishness. But he sees a chance we are going down if we go below 6'450.
- @haejin stays bullish
- Sign of a longer term bear market piling up.

## **News about the blog**
- I need to revise my 2018 long term table. I need to add a 2018 and 2019 target an be more precise on the sentiment here. Will do that after I am back in Switzerland.

### Tone:
- Weekly: Remains bearish. This week has turned red again. We are sitting at the 50 MA - closing below is not necessarily a death but doesn't help.
- Daily: Looks very ugly. He was looking a 1-4 candle correction to the upside from the hammer and 9 but we turned yesterday already back down which is another weak sign. We have a new swing close yesterday and today looks like another swing close. We are too long at this levels - usually you have just 1-2 hours at the bottom to catch it. Now we are already 48hours trading at current levels - which make it likely to give more downside.
He is expecting us to go to 6'000 than going up (illusion of double bottom) than go back down hoping to reverse at 4'900 or if we go below that the next likely target is 1'300 but we can bounce from anywhere in between.

He is expecting bitcoin to break out of the fractal to the upside soon. Therefore a monster volume is needed like with the first fractal. His primary count is supported by the higher lows of the MACD.

He sees new lows to be imminent. The last bullish count he can find gets invalidated if we drop below 5'920.

But he sees the following bear scenarios more likely (primary count). Those scenario have different support / bounce areas: 5'400, 4'850, 3'550.

He sees mixed indicators: Stochastic indicate the presence of bullish pressure while EMA50 forms continuous negative pressure towards 6'495.
As long as we stay above 5'947 the market has still a chance for an up move.
Todays trend is slightly bearish. Expected trading for today is between 6'300 and 7'600.

BTC test major trend line support which is established for month now. The range of 7'500 - 7'700 needs to hold. If we break below he is expecting us to retest 6'000. If support holds he sees a rally up.

He expects a slow shift from bearish to a bullish market. For that we need a series of higher highs and higher lows. For now he remains bearish but "less".

## **Definition**
- *light blue highlighted* = all content that changed since last update.
- *sentiment* = how in general the analysts see the current situation (bearish = lower prices more likely / bullish = higher prices more likely)
- *target* = the next (short term) price target an analysts mentions. This might be next day or in a few days. It might be that an analyst is bullish but sees a short term pull-back so giving nevertheless a lower (short term) target.
- *support/res(istance)* = Most significant support or resistances mentioned by the analysts. If those are breached a significant move to the upside or downside is expected.
- *bottom* =  -> now renamed and moved to long term table. Low 2018
- *low/top 2018* = what is the low or the top expected for 2018?
