Why are most still on Facebook? Because their audience is still there. We need be and provide an audience or no one is going to come and stay, except those who have nothing to lose. Content sharers lose nothing, but creators lose a lot

I agree.  That is why framing Leo as a social media platform is a losing proposition.  People arent going to switch.  They are creatures of habit.

But then most arent monetized on Facebook as far as I know.  Maybe they are but it seems to me the business builders are on YouTube with a few no building their X following since the pay some revenue.

I'm not sure I understand this. Monetization means nothing if the attention isn't there spreading the currency around at a basic level. So, if the attention is too low for socialization, it's too low for the monetization to matter any more
