I thought that by now PolyCUB would've been added to one of the wonders of cryptoglobal, but I haven't any notification to that effect yet, probably they're keeping the award for a better period.

PolyCUB is a very powerful tool that's changing the face and gimmicks of LeoFinance and the entire hive blockchain. This is actually true if you've observing the goodies it has brought to the Lions as well as entire hive blockchain.

My focus in today's post is to highlight the 7 things that currently makes PolyCUB to be and remain the best DeFi platforms that have ever existed in the DeFi World.

For those that hearing about PolyCUB for the first time, please let me help you to understand what we're talking about. PolyCUB was launched in March as a yield optimizing DeFi 2.0 platform. This yield optimizing abilities is actualized through innovative ideas that's supposed to be unveiled as time goes on since it's a long term project.

**The 7 Wonders of PolyCUB**

**Wonder 1: PolyCUB Emission Halvening per block**
This to me is the first wonder of PolyCUB because of how the entire emission system is built. PolyCUB is a LeoFinance project on the Polygon network and it's designed to emit it's airdrop according to the Polygon blocks.

This wonder have 3 phases of PolyCUB emission halving process. The first halvening took place in March two weeks after the airdrop launch, while the second came in April and we're expecting the 3 in May.

The main essence of the PolyCUB emission halving process is to help make the product to become scarce. This will lead us to the second wonder of PolyCUB.

**Wonder 2: Deflationary Nature of PolyCUB**
One of the properties of scarcity is to reduce the inflation and present a Deflationary asset that can stand the test of time. 

One of the killers of most DeFi 1.0 is the in ability to handle inflation rate of the token.

With much study of the lapses of the said DeFi 1.0 platforms, the @leofinance team decided to fight inflation as part of the mission to create sustainability of the project.

**Wonder 3: Sustainability**
PolyCUB is designed to serve a long term goal and requires a means to sustain itself without external interference. This is why we have the xPOLY attached to the PolyCUB project.

xPolycub is the greatest asset of the PolyCUB project. This is because it creates avenues for the yield optimizing tendencies of PolyCUB to unveil itself. It should be noted that the actual purpose of xPolyCub has not been revealed yet.

**Wonder 4: Collateralized Lending**
PolyCUB collateralized lending is tied to xPolycub and this could be loaned by anyone and used to make any transaction but lendee will pay a sort of collateral for leading xPolyCub.

**Wonder 5: pHBD**
pHBD is a wrapped form of Hive's stablecoin HBD on Polygon network. pHBD came into existence after the unanimous agreement reached by the Hive Witness on increasing the interest on HBD savings from 12% to 20% APR.

Attaining 20% APR on HBD savings just solved one of the challenge facing HBD from being mass adopted in the cryptoverse. Creating demand also needs a corresponding supply to avoid crisis within the ecosystem.

pHBD came as a tool to solve the supply challenge in providing liquidity for HBD. The targeted liquidity by the LeoFinance community for pHBD is 5 million.

Currently pHBD offers about 57.98% APR and 78.49% APY for just wrapping HBD, which is making more when placed side-by-side with the savings on the native HBD.

**Wonder 6: xPolyCub Governance**
xPolycub governance is also a unique aspect of the PolyCUB project tied to pHBD. PolyCUB governance is simply the previllege given to xPolycub holders in taking decisions that relates to the success of PolyCUB and it's components.

The first xPolyCub governance proposal voting exercise was just concluded two days ago. The xPOLY holders were given options to vote for how long the window for locked claims of pHBD-HBD vault and several periods were placed for them to choose (90, 30 and 15 days) and 30 days came out as the majority consensus.

This is simply being democratic in a blockchain and also giving members a chance to give their say in a decisive issue.

**Wonder 7: DeFi 2.0 hidden in xPolycub**
This wonder is yet to be revealed. It'll come after the 60 days airdrop claiming period. During this period, we'll see the actual long term yield optimizing abilities of xPolyCub. First, it'll start with the making rewards for holders through the early harvesting fees that'll be collected from early harvesters and many more.
