<div class="text-justify">Mis estimados y queridos amigos, como persona y profesional me siento con mucho privilegio iniciar mis publicaciones en esta comunidad llena de ciencia e investigación, y como profesional de la enfermería espero poder dar un pequeño aporte. # Soy enfermero especialista en cuidados críticos tanto pediátrico como adultos y la dedicación, estudio y vigilancia del soporte ventilatorio artificial es primordial en el manejo del paciente con insuficiencia respiratoria para su adecuado uso y éxito así como en la prevención de complicaciones que está pueda originar en los enfermos. # <center>  </center> ###### <center>Imagen de mi propiedad captada con teléfono móvil</center> # El soporte ventilatorio artificial está indicado en los pacientes que no puedan respirar de forma voluntaria o por si sola y esto se debe a múltiples causas, como afecciones propiamente respiratorias, neurológicas, abdominales, trastornos de electrolitos o neuromusculares entre otras. Para el uso del soporte ventilatorio no es de forma estándar en cada paciente sino que varía de acuerdo al peso, edad, diagnóstico médico, presión barometrica del lugar donde se ubique la unidad de cuidados intensivos.  ###### <center>Imagen de mi propiedad captada con teléfono móvil</center> # Para el inicio de la ventilación mecánica o soporte ventilatorio artificial el aparato debe estar conectado a la fuente eléctrica preferiblemente que está sea de emergencia por si llega a fallar el fluido eléctrico, a pesar de que estos aparatos bien capacitados para soportar 2 horas desconectados, siempre es bueno estar seguro porque se trata de garantizar la respiración de los pacientes. Así mismo los aparatos de soporte ventilatorio requieren estar conectados a toma de oxígeno de pared así como de aire comprimido o también llamado aire medicinal para su funcionamiento, y estar conectadas sus conexiones en las válvulas inspiratorias y espiratorias. # <center></center> #  #  ###### <center>Imágenes de mi propiedad captada con teléfono móvil</center> # Es recomendable antes de ponerlo en funcionamiento con el paciente conectar el ventilador a un pulmón artificial y observar que este enviando la presión que se requiere, para evitar causar daños en el paciente, aunque lo ideal es el uso de un espirómetro que nos certifique que la presión o volumen establecido en el aparato sea el que sea debidamente entregado a la persona críticamente enferma. #  # ###### <center>Imagen de mi propiedad captada con teléfono móvil</center> # Al conocer datos importantes del paciente como diagnóstico clínico, edad, peso se prepara todo lo necesario para la intubación orotraqueal y su conexión al ventilador mecánico estableciendo los parámetros clínicos adecuados, como modo ventilatorio, FR, Presión positiva al final de la espiración (Peep), presión y volumen control, relación inspiración espiración, podemos apreciar el las imágenes a continuación en la interfaz de la pantalla táctil del ventilador mecánico. #     ###### <center>Imágenes de mi propiedad captada con teléfono móvil</center> # Una vez establecidos los parámetros ventilatotios, el paciente intubado y fijado y posicionado adecuadamente el tubo orotraqueal, más control radiográfico del tórax se maneja el paciente junto con un monitor de multiparametros y cuidados especiales de enfermería aseguramos el soporte ventilatorio artificial en los pacientes críticos.
