Travelling sketches in Russia in XIX century/Зарисовки в пути по России XIX века

Now travelers simply capture the world around them, took out a smartphone and take photos or videos.it's good that in the past there were artists who left us pictures of everyday life in Russia in the 19th century.

Interesting illustrations are presented in the book "Travelling Sketches of Russia and Sweden during the year 1805-1808 by Robert Ker Porter",
received for us at auction.

Beautiful snaps of life. Sketches from the past make me remember that decorations change with time, but people are still people with human joys and sorrows.
