FEELING SO SAD: MY IN-LAW BURIAL TODAY.(TRIBUTE)

Today being 24th of March,2023 will remain an unforgettable day as my In-law will be lowered to the ground as his soul rest.
Life has no duplicate if it were so, I would have duplicated it my good in-law.
If I were the owner of life, I would have increased your life span by many more years.
If I had the remote controller of life, I would have regulated it to suit.
If I can give life, I would have given you in abundance.
If I had my way, I would have smuggled life lines for you my beloved in-law.

Living a life from 1960 to 2023 wasn't an easy journey for you. You were more than a warrior because you boldly confronted the giants of life despite the huddles of life. You penetrated the invisible and visible world even in a cashless economy that befallen us yet you remain a hero.
Though I was thinking you could live beyond 62years but the greatest owner of life decided to throw an unquestionable invitation to you and you gladly seconded. Hmmm it was like a dream but the reality has fallen on us today. Yesterday we rendered diversified songs and praise to God for a well life spent over you.

There are in-laws that are very wicked but your act of humility is what I can't categorically described. You took your time and attended our traditional wedding with absolute joy with a smile on your face. You really played your role as an uncle. Your contribution to my beautiful wife' life can't be fathom easily because an indelible mark has been enshrined. I remembered the kind of gift you came with to support our start of marital journey. You knew the significance of marriage, you decided to donate a baby bed for us. What a prophet, what a father. You navigated through the future as an elder and found accurately what the young couple need. I remain eternally grateful to God for your life. Guess what? The baby bed is still with us even as I drop this my deepest tribute as I watch you being lowered to your permanent destination.
Continue to rest in peace.

You did not just taught my wife life lessons but the spiritual blue print you showed her is quite amazing. You were a devote and committed member of your assembly of worship and lived an exemplary life. A communicant, a giver, a lover of God's work.
A funeral service shall be celebrated in your local church this morning before we proceed with the final internment. What a life.

An anchor , an iroko tree has fallen. Many at times people feel until one is dead before you begin to shower praises and broadcast his antecedent but for you sir, you began it from when you were still alive. We rejoiced with you but sincerely it became more painful on our side now that a vacuum had been created and more so your act of benevolence keeps speaking.... We can't be quiet. We just have to find way to express ourselves in this regard.

Today, I joined the host of other people to pay the last respect even as our culture demands to be buried. My inlaw, rest in peace till we meet to part no more.
