Technological advancement has done a lot of good. The apparent dividend can't be overemphasized. It has really transformed lots of lives and sectors. The telecommunication has done so much for mankind and the social at large. I could remember vividly many years ago where communication was quite challenging and very difficult. People had to travel miles and spend so much on transport before they reach out to their loved ones. Imagine you want to deliver a message perhaps somebody died, you have to ensure that you travelled a distant journey, spend so much before you relate issues with them.

Thank God along the way president olusegun Obasanjo changed the telecommunication industry with introduction of mobile phone for easy communication. This gave opportunity for other service providers such as MTN, NITEL, etc were amongst the first set of network service providers that emerged in Nigeria. As time gradually unveil things, some of the providers metamorphosed to another name. For the sake of this engagement, I would like to share about the ones I used, their strength, weakness and recommendation.

The first line or network I started using was MTN even though I couldn't enjoy it for long because of how it was purchased. It was my elder brother's wife that bought it for me. I don't how she registered it but I was just given for free. Later it ceased hence I had to look for another. That's what I have been using for more than a decade now. MTN is one of the best network or service providers in my area even though there are many others however I enjoyed it far better than others.
Is not as though there are not challenges but comparing it with others one would appreciate what he has available. When I was in relationship before I married my wife, they used to have a package that enables one to make calls early hours of the morning. It's called extra cool. That was the Genesis of some customers subscribing to MTN.

MTN Network has a wide range of coverage in my area hence virtually every average person in my location subscribe to them. Their wide coverage made people to make them number one in network services before backing up with others like glo, etisalat, Airtel etc. Another outstanding thing about MTN is that some times their charges is averagely ok compared to other though this is dependent on the kind of tarif you operate. Another good thing I like about the network is that the data bundles are just fairly ok for me compared to others and the amount they charge. For the past few months I stopped using glo for subscription because it would even get expired without finishing it. This would make me cure more expenses aside that charges for data aren't palatable. I preferred MTN because they have different packages that one would choose and buy based on your capability. MTN is more reliable in data compared to others.
The second network providers I like is glo. For glo network I enjoyed their package called CUG where you would subscribe and enjoy calls with your loved ones for a month. This attracted some customers

The role of service providers generally is amazing and worth celebrating and appreciating because is not easy at all to continue to burn all the fuels in sustaining their platforms. Service providers are part of the transformative agents we have today.
