Welcome to my blog, and I am excited to have you here. It's been an amazing moment and time out here.

As the year spins towards the second half, it's expedient that one take stock and evaluate how far the journey of 2025 has been and make adequate plans on how to leverage the remaining months. One thing is to plan, and another is the power of execution.

As I was reflecting on what to write on, this particular thought just dropped into my heart, and I decided to share it here.I noticed that there is a mindset a goal setter must possess for maximum outcome; if not, you could easily be frustrated and, in the end, lose confidence. Many had very powerful goals but couldn't achieve anything.

There are other categories of people that had good goals but couldn't put them in writing; hence, the goal was aborted. For how long would we continue to mourn? How long would we continue to ask unnecessary questions? How long would we continue to lose sight of vision and purpose?

The gap between goal and achievement is what I intend to share, and I tagged it as the "mind frame" or "mindset" of a goal setter. Let me make this clear: not every goal set leads to achievement. The degree to which you would successfully actualize your dream or goal is determined by the strength of the kind of mindset you have. Our mind is the center of gravity where critical thinking and decisions are taken. When it's not properly guided or managed, it could lead to abortion of vision.

Sometimes it is not rushing to have goals that matters, but the most important thing is the kind of mind you have. The kind of mind you have will determine how far you will go in life. The mind is the battlefield where all life decisions are determined. The big question now is what kind of mind should a goal setter possess? Let me quickly highlight a few thoughts I have realized are vital to the formation of the right mindset.

The first thing I would like to share is broken spirit. This entails the capacity to accept new change. As I earlier stated, not every written goal might be achieved. If your goal didn't play out as planned, what would you do? These are some critical things to be considered. Another thing is to be conscious that there is time for everything, and the ultimate controller of time is God. He may thwart it as it pleases him; however, have time in view. Don't just copy another person, but be yourself by engaging your brain in productive reasoning. Be smart and wise. The mindset of a goal setter should be that your level of knowledge about a goal shouldn't be limited. Keep learning.
