Lessons from the Bible Study held on 10th February 2022 via zoom

I joined the the Bible Study via zoom and I learnt a lot from the teaching of bro Eli.

In this video, I shared some of the lessons I learned from the Bible Study. Watch and be blessed

##### Some of the important points learned from the words of God discussed in the Zoom meeting are:

- Faith is one of the most misinterpreted part of the Bible by most people.
- Theology came from two Greek words Theo and logos
- There is difference between Peteros and Petras. Peteros is a small rock while Petras is a big rock.
- The church was built on a bigger rock not small rock (Peter). The church was not built on the apostles but on Jesus Christ.
- Peter is not the foundation but he was built on the foundation.
- Christ is the foundation of the true church in the Bible and not Peter.
- The true gospel cannot be preached by those that God do not trust.
- The meaning of faith is trust.
- God trust others even men. He trust the apostles and that is why they can preach the gospel.
- Anybody that said God do not trust people is deceiving others.
- The apostles write because God instructed them to do so because He trusted them.

##### My former beliefs or expectation that was improved for listening at the Zoom meeting

Many people believe that the church was built on the rock and that the rock is Peter. This is not true and the rock said in the Bible was Peter it was Jesus Christ. Petros is different from Petras. Petros is small rock while Petras is big rock.

##### Ways in which the study affect us that can make us a better person that we can use in our daily lives

The study has made us to understand that God has faith in men too. He has faith in the apostles and that is why the cam preach the gospel and that is also why God instructed them to write the Bible.
