This new coin empwer coin seems like some interesting ideas. One gets a coin for signing up then 100 coins for every person they bring to sign up? The website then goes on to assert estimated value by 2018 to surpass Bitcoin. I thought it might not be total bullshit until I read that.

But I checked out the videos. I think some of the ideas are interesting even if I think their claims of more value than bitcoin while giving away coins for email sign ups just sounds ridiculous especially that somehow magically in a year this will happen.

The video discusses basic concepts of valuing a crypto. Whether there is demand for the coin, then also whether the supply is fixed. At a bout 17 minutes, he discusses the Dunbar number, wonder if he read Clay Shirky’s “Here Comes Everybody” or what?

The second video seems to discuss underutilization of chattel and how people can collectively own chattel possibly—specifically helping people get what they want fast and free—which sounds totally ridiculous. But perhaps people would do things for a non central bank coin--but unlikely for free.

 The second video discusses how someone could rent their power drill and the logistics of delivering the tool to the person. It also discusses a success coach user bifurcation to help with user retention and training.
