I am set to make a Loud whisper as I begin a series on SEX. Sex? Yes, I said sex. Believe me we must talk about sex. Why? Some may ask. Well, we live in a world besieged by the pressure of sex.

A world where sex is advertised 24 hours a day, seven days per week and three times as much on Sunday, according to Dave Burrows, Increasingly, we hear jokes about sex, listen to songs about it, and see it in movies and in soft-sale magazines, not to mention outright pornography!

SEX appeal is deployed to promote products ranging from fast cars to tooth pastes! It is obvious we are under the siege of sex. Consequently, the pressure to indulge has mounted radically especially on single youths. The pressure to "prove you are mature", "feel among", and "prove your love" is mounting. As a result, to tell the unmarried young person that he or she must shun sex seems stupid, unrealistic and even criminal!

Many young people have already been encouraged to indulge in sex directly or indirectly because of some lies they have swallowed from the popular press. The consequences have been terrible. We have broken homes, unwanted pregnancies, abortions, children with "no father", damaged lives, diseases, destruction and death (This is only a partial list). Beloved, I think it will be better we talk about sex.

To talk about this sensitive topic, we must put it in a proper perspective. First, we must consider the origin of sex. Man did not invent sex. It was God who did. As we are aware, everything God created had a purpose. Dr. Myles Munroe says, "when purpose is not defined, abuse is inevitable", it is the abuse of sex that ushered in the ugly situations afore mentioned. So, what is God's plan for sex? It's simple: USE AFTER MARRIAGE.

It's sure going to be difficult, but I am persuaded God knows better than everyone of us and of course we can't argue against that. Twenty eight times in the Bible God asks us to "Flee" pre-marital sex. Motivational speaker, pastor Sam Adeyemi cautions, "Pre-marital sex is an unlabelled poison". That is no threat, it is simply the truth.

God invented sex, man perverted sex.
