The above enigmatic question needs a second thought before one takes a stand in answering it. Today human society is fast changing.
Many factors contribute to bring about social change. Culture is not static. It grows slowly and steadily. The society itself has never been static and the culture of the society changes as the society changes.
Before I go into full discussion of this question i have highlight what "teenage" and "teen pregnancy" mean.
Teenage refers to someone between 13 and 19 years of age. Such a person falls within the bracket of an adolescent.
Teeenage pregnancy is pregnancy contracted by a female who is between 13 and 19 years old.
CAUSES OF TEENAGE PREGNANCY:
A number of factors causes teenage pregnancy. Such factors inter -alia, include.
i. Ignorance of sex education
ii. Inordinate ambition or desire to get money and other material things
iii. Early marriage.
Nowadays, there are a lot of improvements in the meeical sciences. Many fertility drugs have been discovered. If a teenager knowingly or unknowingly take such drugs, the resultant effect may be pregnancy after sexual intercourse with a man.
To obviate these dangers, something must be . Girls should be given adequate sex education. Parents should not shy away from their responsibility by not providing what their daughters need.| author | felix8 |
