# Dear friends

After a short break for the lyric poetry contest for the Christmas and New Year holidays, I wish you had a happy holiday in the company of your loved ones and that the year 2021 that begins is a blessing.


Today I present this new edition of the Lyric Poetry Contest, which has been presented consecutively every fortnight. 


Returning to the topic that has brought us together now, the 53th edition of the Lyric Poetry Contest has had 10 participants who have delighted us with their prose on a subject as significant as *Jealousy*. We have had the outstanding support of the #Team-CCC, the @emeeseese team, the #TalentClub team as well the support of @steembasicincome.

## 54th Edition - Prompt: *Encounter* 

The meeting of people who love each other generates in them a degree of satisfaction and joy that makes them see life from an optimistic perspective.

Thus the daily *encounter* that a believer has with his personal God makes his faith come out strengthened and he is prepared for the daily challenges that arise in his life.

2020 has been a year that has taught us to value what the word encounter is and what it means, thus motivated by restrictions and difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many people have had to postpone their reunion and express their feelings through the cold world of telecommunications.


Lyric poetry allows us to carry these feelings with the pen of our ideas in which to express the deepest of these.

Thus in this edition of lyrical poetry the theme chosen is that of the feelings of **Encounter** which also have their preferred place on the stage of lyrical poetry.
