For a long time, I made posts about the HIVE (STEEM back then) reward function.
I want it to be like @dan intended: ``x^n``

During the discussions, people kept talking about _exponential_ growth.
That is very wrong; So wrong, that I had to make this post, even years later.

## Yes, there are 3 intersections!

This example illustrates well, how humans can not comprehend exponential growth.
Exponential growth will always outgrow any quadratic function, **always**.
I myself, can not imagine it by just looking at the first graph.
Do you know, why I know it, anyways? 
No home-schooling, no public school; I went to a proper school, a gymnasium.
They taught me these things.

I am not going to point fingers, but the people claiming STEEM had an exponential reward function are idiots. They should not control HBD or have any other responsibilities with numbers until they properly educate themselves first.
