Have you got plans for the weekend?

We have a busy social calender this weekend. Online that is! 

Last night we were online for a friends birthday party (they live around the corner, but we can’t see them due to the social distancing thing). It wasn’t quite the same as being in the same room with everyone, but it was close enough. We had a laugh and I hope they enjoyed their birthday!

Tonight we are meeting up (again online) with some friends we have known for 25 years or so (some of them have known each other since they were kids - and we are all 50ish now). Most of them live in the UK (although different parts of it) but there is also another couple who live in France (4 hours from us) and another couple who live in Germany. They all met up last Friday, but we couldn’t make it so we are looking forward to catching up tonight.

On Saturday we are meeting up (online, still!) with my brother, his wife and my niece. They live in the UK.

Other than that we are doing the usual stuff… curating on HIVE, tweeting your great posts, writing a little (I would like it to be a lot, but I’m aiming low!) and maybe some felting too.

It is still weird to walk through the town on a Friday morning and there not to be a market on (the third Friday in a row).

Interestingly the town next door is continuing to host a market (food only) on Saturday. It is the decision of our town not to do so. Our local producers are coming up with ways to sell their produce. You can order it online (or by phone) a few days in advance and they will deliver it to a local bar for collection (as a parcel). We missed the deadline this week, but hope to participate next week.
